Four options on the way to the Galilee.

    1) We visit the ruins of Caesarea- passing the Roman aqueduct, entering the  Crusader stronghold.  We stop at the ancient port and explore the theater  which even today, is used for musical events.  Our tour continues via the beautiful Dor beach to the Mount Carmel and its panoramic views of the city of Haifa and it's spectacular port. We proceed  to the Druze village of Daliat-el-Carmel to see the residents in their ethnic dress and to experience a tantalizing  traditional  oriental lunch .
    2) We begin our tour  in Nazareth,  the Christian holy site where, where Jesus grew up and where we  visit the Church of the Annunciation.   We continue to the top of  Mount Tabor with its mountain top  church , then on to Zipori to see the outstanding  mosaics and the
    impressive water reservoir .
    3) Ascending  toward  Zefad  the old Jewish town with it's  Artists' Quarter,  our route takes us  along the Jordan River  and up  the Golan Heights. Here we  visit the  museum of
the Golan antiquities and taste wine at the Golan winery . Our ascent continues to the top an ancient volcano where we can view Syria.
    4) This tour is dedicated to the acts of Christ in the Sea of Galilee. Our first stop is the  site of the Sermon of the Mount before proceeding to the  site in where the Miracle of Loaves and Fishes is believed to have happened. We continue to Capernaum and it's ancient synagogue - a place where  Jesus  is thought to have preached. From here takes us up the Golan,  tracing the events of the Six Days War to magnificent views of the Sea of Galilee.
We descend to Hamat Gader and its soothing hot springs hot springs which have been a recreation center since the Roman period.

The Galilee is in Israel's north and is a beautiful and generally mountainous region.  We refer to   the Lower Galilee and the Upper Galilee, which combined is an astonishingly diverse and fascinating area with much  to offer  tourists.  In the Galilee there are still people who use ancient knowledge to make medicinal potions and fortune-tellers who read your future from coffee dregs.  They are a small part of a disappearing culture that once prevailed  in the villages of the Galilee. This is the area in which Jesus grew up and which is  famous as well, for the many  great rabbis who lived here.  There are ruins of Crusader fortresses and  ancient  synagogues  scattered in and around the lush green mediterranean forests.
